We have finally made it to 2020, the year of our 100th Anniversary!
As we continue through the year, don’t forget that each month has a special theme. Below we have included details about the next couple of months. Please distribute this information to your jurisdictions and Bethels.
March: Founder’s Month
To celebrate our founder, we are releasing a new ceremony “Mother Mick’s Bouquet” for Bethels to perform during the month. We are happy to announce that the ceremony is now available for Bethels here: https://www.jdi100.org/founders-month. On the site you can also find hand-painted printouts for all of the flowers. These were painted especially for this ceremony by a PHQ from California.
As another way to celebrate our founder, the 100th Anniversary group has been working with Forrest Lawn Cemetery to place a memorial bench near Mother Mick’s gravesite. We would like to ask each Bethel to hold a special coin march during the month of March to help us raise the necessary funds to make this tribute possible. If every Bethel were to raise just $15, the project would be fully funded.
April is all about promotion. A promotion toolkit is in the works. Keep your eyes peeled for more information!
Thank you for everyone who has participated in our 100th Anniversary activities thus far. We’re looking forward to seeing all the ways you’re celebrating the 100th Anniversary. Don’t forget to use the 100th hashtag #jdi100 on social media so we can see all your exciting celebrations!
