May’s been a hoot and a half!! Crazy how fast everything goes by!
Kicked the Month of Parades with the Poco May Day parade with Bethel #63, it was televised and those girls are so into promotion and talking with the girls watching the parade.
Bethel #47 was on the 15th, they did obligation and it was fabulous. Kamloops has always been so welcoming to me whenever I came out to visit and I missed them so much!
Next was the Cloverdale parade where 11 Bethels were represented.. Crazy! This parade has always been one of my favourites. I was happy to pass “Beatrice” along to a jobie who is as small as I was when I wore it!! Hope to see her out and about!
The Grand Bethel retreat happened right after, we went to McDonald’s for lunch and then got down to business. After a long day of brainstorming, Grand Meghan made us all face masks to wear while we relaxed with The Princess Bride.
Bethel #26 welcomed us with open arms at the end of May! The trip was long…but I slept through most of it so I can’t complain much (I swear I could be in a car for an hour and be out like a light). Thanks Mr Hasegawa for driving!! Thanks PG for hanging out with us for the weekend and if definitely like to come up again.
The GG and I represented the Jobies at the Grand Chapter of OES on May 30th and I was honoured to speak on behalf of us as a Jurisdiction.
Thursday was Kailie’s last meeting as a Daughter so as you’d imagine it was an emotional meeting for all who attended… And it might have ended with some icing on a couple faces.
And finally, today was the first of the installations! Congratulations Bethel #22 on a well done installation and I know that all of the daughters will have an incredible time this term in your new stations!
